Independent Study: Presentation

Using the films "The Lion King" and "Frozen" as a comparison, to what extent do music, sound and dialogue bring out Disney animated films as a whole?

I will be looking deeper into how music, as well as sound and the human voice behind the characters bring out these two films as a whole.  I will also look at the media language used (tone and mood), represenations (world influenced music) and realism.

Whether you're a director, cinematographer, editor, sound editor/mixer, screenwriter, production designer, costume or props designer, all of these roles in a film count towards the final product of a film.  People in these roles have to be very good in what the role they have in order to make great, fantastic and memorable films, otherwise the films would fall into pieces (and suck) if the film crew is not good.

For IB, we will have to choose one of these roles which we will only be assessed on depending on which role we choose (this if for the films that we make during the course of IB - see Practical Portfolio below and IB Films page).
